Constant BEEPING!

Our '09 convertible has started something new. When we park it, turn it off, everything is shut down, locked or unlocked, it starts beeping, once every 30 seconds. It is from under the car but so far impossible to pinpoint. Not from under the hood and not from inside the car. There are no warning lights or other indicators of problems.

Is it possible there is a low battery warning or something else it is telling us?

I called Baron in the hopes they would know what I was talking about and would share some insights without me actually having to take it in. Guess what. "Never heard of such a thing. Better make an appointment."

It is still beeping. Every 30 seconds. Beep.........Beep.......Beep.......Beep.......

Can you determine where the sound is coming from yet? ie: under the dash, engine compartment, trunk etc? I know you said under the car, but front end, middle, back?

Does the car have any aftermarket equipment, like an alarm or amp for the stereo?

Lastly, have you looked in the owner's manual, check things like factory alarm, or back up sensors if it has either?

Is the top up or down when this happens?

Have you tried to disconnect the battery and see what happens? Maybe it will reset whats making it beep. Just a thought.
