I don't dress up for Halloween lol. I participate the fun but I never wear a costume. Personal preference.Laurie wrote:From what I hear this is not an official "dress up your car" event this year. The costume contest is only for the people not the cars. If you want to dress up your car for fun I think they are going to provide some space so you can display your creation.
That being said, we'll be there. This party is always a good time and excellent people watching
We don't dress ourselves up either. It's always fun seeing the costumes people come up with for themselves and their cars though. I mainly wanted to put it out there about the car contest. In the past there have been some pretty good prizes for best dressed car. Baron has decided not to do that this year so I didn't want people to go out of their way if no prizes were involved (not that that's the only reason people participate).Zackattack28 wrote:I don't dress up for Halloween lol. I'm just doing my race car get-up. The number 53 number rounds on the doors, some other stuff, and my racing harness in the interior. If anyone has a dummy and a racing suit with gloves we could put a fake driver inside as well. Would be rather cool.ragtopday wrote:Is anyone interested in dressing their car up even if there aren't prizes? If so, I believe the service bay space can be made available. Anyone???
This is GREAT news! Even if there weren't prizes, this is good fun. I'm super appreciative of all Baron does. The Toyota dealer has never once invited us to a party.IowaM1N1 wrote:Talked to Samer today. He says that there will be a car costume contest, with prizes.
Judging and prizes will not be announced until later in the evening, so plan to stick around and enjoy yourselves!
All you creative types are encouraged to bring your 'A' game and decorate your MINI!
You may not see this listed on the info you get from Baron - they had to lock in a lot of things early. There will be an email push on Monday and the car contest might not be listed. Do Not Panic. The show is ON.
