Washed the Kitty today

It got rained on for about 3 minutes Saturday while I had it parked outside for the MINI Shop day and OMG it was dirty, so today I gave it a bath and parked it on the other side of the garage, that way I can easily get down into the basement this winter. When Rose's Audi is parked here I can't open the basement door.
Looks much better now.....
Those boxes contain a friend's 998 Mini engine in pieces, he's coming to get it tomorrow.

It's interesting, when I went to the body shop to have it painted (the original color was Primrose yellow, when I bought it it was white) and I told them I wanted it painted black, they asked me "what color of black?"
I had to think about that for a minute, as I thought black was just black, however they showed me some large color chips and would you believe there are a very large number of different blacks? Red/black, orange/black, brown/black, blue/black, yellow/black and on and on and even a white/black!
I chose a blue/black, which if you look carefully you can see the blue influence in the car.

(For those who don't know the reference, look up the movie "Harold and Maude", this car starred in that movie.....)

I don't have netflix but I will look it up. Not lazy. Just tired. Been busy all week

Great movie. One of my fav's.
Don't know about MINIDave's "old lady girlfriend." I hope for his sake he's not referring to SWMBO, or at least that she doesn't ever see his post!
