Last fall with the funds raised from Minis at the Market, the club was able to donate enough money to Harvesters to provide 1,075 meals.

The club also raised enough funds to sponsor two kennels at KC Pet Project, a cat kennel and a large dog kennel. This week KC Pet Project sent photos of the sponsored kennels:

This is CJ. She is the cat currently residing in the kennel the club sponsored. She's eight years old and gorgeous! She's available to adopt right now...

And this is Rambo. Rambo is living in the large dog kennel the club sponsored. He's a 4 year old shepherd/blue heeler mix. This would make speed_racer smile. I can't picture a more fitting tribute from the club members.

Thank you to all who participated and raised funds for these worthy causes. Y'all are good people!

So nice, and fitting, that you named the kennel in honor of Speedracer.

CJ reminds me of my first cat GreyGirl. She was a British Blue.

The dog kennel sponsorship makes me happy and sad all at the same time. I wish we never had to do it, but I'm glad we did. It's perfect.

That is awesome! Blue kitty look just like one we adopted from there. Sorry they have to be locked up, but glad they have some new facilities. :D
