Folks - The drive plan is complete. As stated, we will meet in the Southwest corner of the Walmart parking lot. We will travel East on Parallel to 91st Street where we will turn north for a nice drive around Wyandotte County Lake State Park. From there we will pick-up the K5 and head north into Leavenworth. After some twisty fun, we will head a bit south to Le Mesa Mexican restaurant. You can go to the map from this link: http://mapq.st/1Je6u6u

The St. Louis Mini Club is coming to visit KC on April 25th. Stay tuned for updates, perhaps including a twisty drive and dinner...

*UPDATE* We will meet at 4-4:15 for a 4:30 PM departure in the southwest corner of the Walmart parking lot at 10837 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, KS. (This is the Walmart just to the North of Legends.) With 20+ cars, it shouldn't be hard to locate where we have gathered. We'll look for a spot in the perimeter of the lot with open spaces.

We'll go on a twisty drive from the Legends to Leavenworth, ending with dinner at La Mesa.

RSVPS with number of cars and people right away please. If you don't plan to stay for dinner, please indicate so we can have an accurate count for the restaurant. Thanks!

No problem. I know this thread is a little dated, so if everyone will chime in with their RSVP (cars and people) I can get an accurate head count for the restaurant.

The plan - We will depart NFM parking lot and head north on I-435. We will then exit on K5 North and drive the twisties to K7. We will then take K7 south to Le Mesa Mexican Restaurant - http://la-mesa.com/ I have the banquet room reserved but it will be fantastic if I have the actual numbers.

Route sheets will be available for download prior to Saturday.
