Made our reservations last night at the Super 8

Wow! It looks like we will have a nice size group for the weekend.

I hope to have more information, including printable route sheets done by the end of the week. I drove the route last week and it's nice. Most of Sunday's Route 66 drive will be on the original route, with just a few sections of newer highway. And donuts, there will be donuts.

We've made our reservations and are anxiously waiting for our first cruise with you all!!!

I was hurtling through space (driving across MO on I-70) with Minix2 yesterday when Dimini called, so I caught wind of him coming along, too. This is shaping up to be a nice sized group!

First, you'll find four separate route sheets. One to get you to Bolivar, one to get you from Bolivar to Springfield, one for Route 66 and one to get you home. Please print them out. Thanks!

Second, I added photos I took when testing out the route. I've also included links with each photo about the points of interest we'll see along Route 66. It's there if you want to read it.

Third, next time you see MiniX2, please give him a big thanks for putting this route in a format that most of us should be able to follow. Translating my notes and wackiness isn't an easy task. I can't promise it's going to be perfect, but I can promise it will be an adventure.

Booked my room at the Super 8! Don't know what time I will get down there, don't know who will be with me and I don't know what MINI/Mini will make the trip. Other than that, it is all good!!

Twisted Minis of Kansas are Facebook friends with the Kansas City group and we got sent an invite for this drive so I thought it would be fun for us to get together and cruise. I must have been the only one that thought so. I mainly just invited the people around Wichita.
