Clutch Job

Found out while at Baron that the clutch will need to be replaced in the next 10,000 miles. Baron said it will cost around $2,500. I don't intend to do the work myself because I don't have the facilities to do it nor do I have the luxury of being without my car for a long period of time. I am curious if any of you have gone to other shops to have the clutch replaced or if my best bet is Baron. I was told I could purchase my own clutch and they could install it but even then it'll still cost around this amount for parts and labor. Thoughts? Comments? Snide Remarks?
My car just past 90,200 miles and the previous owner had the clutch replaced at 36,000 (apparently he liked to burn his clutch up)
