Join us on Sunday, December 13th for a Holiday Lights Drive and Gift Exchange!

We will meet at 5:30 and depart shortly thereafter from the Prairie Village Shops (Starbucks is a good meet-up spot) at 6920 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS. We will go on an approximate one hour drive led by MiniX2 (John) to see some of Johnson County's best holiday light displays.

Our drive will end at Starbucks, 8801 Metcalf in Overland Park. We will have our gift exchange, coordinated by dsopoci (Darrin) and wrap things up by 8.

Please RSVP if you are planning to attend the drive AND indicate if you are participating in the gift exchange.

Gift Exchange Details:
Please RSVP if you will be participating in the gift exchange. Include 3 things you like or something about your MINI or a tidbit of info that will help in selecting a gift for you.
$20 price limit.
RSVPs for the gift exchange must be received by Thursday, December 3rd at 11:59 PM. On Friday, December 4th, Darrin will send you a message on the forum with your match for the gift exchange.
Gifts will be exchanged at the end point of the Holiday Lights Drive.

Hello, first post for me here. I'm Dan, Dsopoci's (Darrin) younger brother and recent member into this community. I had a great time at the Minis at the Market and looking forward to this as well.

I just noticed on some of the replies that the light drive and gift exchange was for December 1st. It is scheduled for December 13.

That is because the length of the subject line is exceeded in the replies. When the "re." is added in a reply, it is cutting off the 3. I'll go edit the post title and abbreviate December to see if that fixes it.

Well, that didn't fix it in the replies. It's shorted in the title of the thread now, but not in the replies. Sorry about that. Hopefully folks will realize the first is a Tuesday.

We will not ba able to attend tonight ( no, not because of the rain, I was fully prepared to drive my garage baby tonight). One of my labs had an eye issue this week and we are still having to administer several different types of drops on a regular schedule. Good news, he still has his vision!!! Have fun and post lots of pics.

We will not be able to attend tonights drive. Becky is feeling poorly.

I just wanted to thank everyone for participating in the holiday light drive. Just seeing a line of minis was just as cool as the great light displays. Thank you John and Johna for setting up the route. Hopefully we can do this again next year. Thank you too for the gift exchange participants, it was nice to hang out and converse with fellow miniacs. I am looking forward to trying out my craft beer and cigar, thank you again Jeff.
