Update:

Dear MINI Cooper Owners,

Due to logistical problems, I have decide not to organize the MINI's to Richmond, MO Car Rally that was scheduled for Saturday May 7th. I feel it will be best to look at other options for future events. I will keep everyone updated if I am able to coordinated another fun event.

Thank you for your past support of the previous Mushroom Festival.

Save the date for Saturday May 7th, 2016 for the 5th MINI's to Richmond, MO Car Rally/Show!

The Mushroom Festival is a fun event and has a lot of people who look forward to seeing the MINI's at the Farris Theater and the Parade!

Jane and I may be able to make this event. Do you know if dogs are allowed at the mushroom festival?

Unfortunately doggies are not allowed at the festival
I wish they were....My Boston Terrier loves car trips/rides

I will be there.

Deb and I plan on attending this year. We so missed not being there last year.

Diana and I will be going. May bring Dexter and Angus , both MINIS, not sure about that but count both of us in.

Any ideas on where to meet up at and what time? I am interested in going and I am trying to get three other mini owners to go too.

We would like to know as well. We will be heading over from Wamego so need to start earlier than most.

I am going to have details soon. Sorry for the delay but for some reason I am having difficulties this year securing the same location that the MINI's have had for the past 4 years in the festival. They are wanting to move the MINI's to a different area

Just found out this is the same weekend of the City Wide Sale and we sell lots of our daylilies at that sale. We cannot make this after all. Darn it anyway!

Worse... They want to put us in the Baptist Church parking lot because they want to put more vendors down the road from where we were at.

There is really no shelter from the weather aka if its hot....the sun

The Baptist Church Parking Lot would be too small

My thoughts exactly, Zach

We are a maybe for this. I wanted to post so I could get updates.

As far as a meet up location, here is what we have done the past 2 years: We meet up at the Ameristar Casino, the drive is only about 40 minutes to Richmond (taking 210 all the way). We plan on meeting in an outer lot of the Casino near the entrance. Festivities don't start until 9:00 and the parade set up is at noon. We will meet around 7:45am and leave for the drive at 8:00am. I know some will have to get up really early to make it there by 8:00 but that gives us plenty of time to drive and see the festival. Plus, I'm sure some will want to spruce up their car before the parade, once we are there.
