Kansas City MINI Enthusiasts

Small change, La Bella Winery will not be able to give us a tour so I called up Odessa Winery and they said they would be glad to show us around and tell us how they make their wines. We will still follow the schedule below except we will go to Odessa second instead of La Bella.

I was thinking about putting together a winery run. I am looking at Saturday, June 23. We would meet at 11:00 am at the Price Chopper in Grain Valley at I-70 and Buckner-Tarsney/BB highway. We would leave between 11:30 and 12:00 after everyone arrives. We would drive to our first stop at Arcadian Moon Vineyards & Winery 19203 Hazel Dell Rd in Higginsville. There we can have lunch and sample wine and hand crafted micro brews. After lunch we would then drive to La Bella Winery 11644 Flournoy School Rd in Wellington. There we can sample some more wines. The person at La Bella said that if I call early enough and we have enough people they could give us a tour of the winery. Please let me know by May 26 so I can call the wineries and tell them we are coming.

Can hardly wait to put names and faces with some of our club names. I am sure I know everyone I just don't know everyone's club name/handle.

For dates, keep in mind a lot of people will be going to Mini Takes the States which is July 14 - 22.

I know several KC people (us included) will be participating.

That's why I am asking for input. I guess that June 23 will be best.

Richard and I are not going to make it...we need to get our gazebo finished, and going to take advantage of the little cooler days before it heats up again next week.

Thank you Marc, I get so absent minded, I know faces really well but I always forget names. Please forgive me.

Brian and I had a great time on the Winery Run, Thanks for putting this together. And seeing another small piece of Beautiful Missouri, and good friendships.
