Rescheduled due to construction at Andrew’s house.

Garage Day has been rescheduled to May 4th. RSVP if you’re free that day.

Same location as we have most of the big tools including my MINI Lifter Uppers at Andrew’s house.

Address is 8935 N. Allenton Ave., Kansas City, MO 64154
Time will be 12:30PM

Please RSVP here or visit the link for the garage group below as I will be cross posting this over there as well. Also mention what you might want to work on as if we need to get special tools from Dave Craven I will need to know soon.

We may also be grilling out again as it went well last time.

Zack - Lower engine mount bushing inserts, pre-cooler, gold heat tape
Joseph - turbo heat blanket, engine mounts
Michael - bushings

Hello!

I am really out of my depth here but it seems that the end of an aux cable was broken off in my car's jack. We weren't able to fish it out with tweezers so I wanted to see what your opinion was of what I can do next.

Thank you!

Amber

Hmmm. One option is to replace the aux jack, I had to do that once when it stopped working. But I also have some small screw drivers I used with my Apple Watch that could probably be used to get the broken piece out.

Do you guys have a scan tool better than an Autel? According to our Autel here all the options are turned on for unlocking my door with engine off (I even turned off the auto locking function), and being able to open the windows and put my top down with the key fob, but none of them work. That may also be something that none of you have experience with either.

Hmmm. I can ask Andrew if he has a scan tool. Not sure if he does. We are still gathering equipment and spare fasteners for the garage days to have on hand but I’ll ask him for you.

You might try giving Baron a call. From my experience all of these are dealer programmable. They have the software to do it and can probably get you fixed in a jiffy.

I think 515 Motorsports got in touch with you that they have a tool that can code the keys and so forth since they work on MINI’s a lot.
