So lets say you are lazy (ie: me) and a bit forgetful at times (ie: me). And lets say the form is printed and signed in my car, but I haven't mailed it yet. I can still register I just won't get lunch/shirt right?

Re: Wow, just...wow.
They are 3-piece forged wheels. Custom offset, custom lip depth, etc. Thats about average. $2200 for a full set to the exact spec you want for your car. Compare those to forged BBS, Volk, Work, DPE, etc. and you'll find they are pretty well priced.
Out of my price range for sure, but still.

Found this over on MotoringUnderground. Quite possibly the nicest MINI I've seen when it comes to the right, tasteful mods. http://kristopher.derentz.com/gallery/d/9371-1/IMG_1035.jpg 09 JCW, coilovers, CCW Classics, euro fender trim, Challenge lip, body-colored trim, etc. Simple & clean. Not to...

Re: Removing bonnet stripes?
Yes, let me know. I'd like to get my hood taken care of, it has a total of about 3 dings that need taken care of and a handful of deep rock chips.

And the verdict is...not faded at all!
Sadly the small dent in my hood was being hidden pretty well by the visual effect of the line, so now it annoys me. Need to get that taken care of...

Removing bonnet stripes?
So on my pure silver 06, what are the odds I could remove the bonnet stripes without having the paint faded enough for it to be noticeable? Thoughts?

Re: Navigating away from this site
There is a way to do it but it requires modifying the PHP files themselves which means its hard to upgrade the software. Its also quite a bit of code change last time I checked (for another site).
That being said, right click --> open in a new window might be your best friend.

Wow they are plastic?! OK....powder coating is out then.
You should be fine with the paint for the most part, sounds like you did it right.

Re: Mama Got a New Pair of Shoes!
Hmm, I didn't think I was going to like the color-match...but I do. Looks great.
Now then, it will be interesting to see how well it holds up. If it chips badly I would re-strip them and have 'em powdercoated yellow instead. Just a thought.

OK I'll bite here. How are they any more, or less, annoying in clear conditions vs. having your headlights on all the time? (or even DRL?). Now the rear fog light I have..THAT is annoying. I never knew until I was behind my far (wife driving). Its crazy bright and far as I can tell 100% useless. I d...

Re: Test Drove Mini's today....
And why exactly are you looking in the ditches and whatnot? You're supposed to be looking ahead, on the road, and scanning the ditches and sides there - where your fogs don't reach....... What is it with folks and their fog lights? This is the most amazing phenomenon............ Deer Curbs when par...

Re: Test Drove Mini's today....
I second/third/fifth? the Xenon choice. My 06 has them and I love them. I also have fogs, which I also love. Our Xterra has normal headlights and no fogs, I feel like I am driving in the dark when I'm in it. As said, the fogs are useless for frontal visibility but help a lot with the area just in fr...
