Who's up for a MINI gathering at the Boulevard Drive-In on a Friday or Saturday night?

I think it would be a hoot to get 10 or 20 MINI's in the front two rows, anyone want to come?

I would have loved to do it this weekend as they're showing Wal-E and Kung Fu Panda, but there's too much already going on this weekend with the Art of the Car show at the art gallery on Saturday and MATM on Sunday.

July 11th and 12th are pretty open on the calendar right now.......

We usually sit in lawn chairs in front of the car anyway, it's cooler that way.

Bring some bug spray, skeeters should be out by that time of year!

I called the theatre today and they say they never know till the week before what they'll be showing. Apparently they get a list of available films and choose one or two based on that and cost........I'll call ahead as it gets closer and post up the film when I know what will be on.

Put us down for 1 MINI/2 peeps. I think we will try and make this.

Do you think we should meet up somewhere first and arrive at the drive in all together as a group? It may be hard to park by each other if we arrive seperately. Do you know what time they open up?

When you guys go to the drive in do you stay for both shows? We have only been to The Boulevard one other time and I think we stayed for both. I would agree about bringing chairs or a blanket though. Last time we tried to sit in the car the whole time and my back was killing me by the end of two movies!

I just got back from my first Drive-In movie experience last week in Warwick, NY where more than 200 MINIs filled the place. It was awesome! We saw the new Indiana Jones flick and got free popcorn and soda sponsored by Prestige MINI in NJ.

This was one of our stops on the MTTS drive from Miami to Boston.

This sounds like a lot of fun but we'll be in Winter Park that weekend.

Have fun and upload some pics for me.

That's a good idea to meet up someplace ahead of time and caravan down. My plan was to take the middle of either the first or first two rows. Then we can sit between the rows or down in front.

Those of us who are younger might want to park in the back!

We usually try to stay for the second film, but it really depends on what's playing. The first movie is usually the headliner, but it doesn't really get dark enough till about 1/2 hour into the movie (to me)

I've gone as early as 7:30, so we can go early and eat and what haveyou if we want. If we get enough cars committed I'll see what arrangements I can make to reserve parking spaces, but the best thing would probably be to caravan down together.

I recommend lawn chairs, a couple of blankies and plenty of skeeter repellent!

Which date or are there two dates, it sounds like 06/28 and 07/12 or am I wrong?

Can we grill? In the past we could out at Blue Ridge but that was years ago?

July 12th, it would be a little hard to do this on June 12th, since today is the 24th of June already!

As far as I know, you are not supposed to grill, I have seen people do it tho........

Just for grins, I did a quick Google search for the movies that are being released on Friday the 11th. These could possibly be showing on the 12th when we go.

My Mom doesnt let me watch anything thats PG-13 or above....I might not be able to go...

I drove by the drive in the other day, and if i wasn't looking for it, I would of blew by it. Never knew I had something like it only 10 mins from my house. then again it was the first time I had been NE of 635 on Merriam Ln. I also feel special being #2 on the list..
