With any luck, I might be out of the Vegas airport by then...I could sure use a MINI drive.

I'd prefer the wk of 12/29, myself. I'll be back in Iowa with wife's family next week, but returning to KC for wk of 12/29.

I even washed my car this morning on the way to work so it would be pretty tonight...........oh well.

I am just gonna keep checking the roads till closer to 6pm. I can see 435 from my office window and both directions between Antioch and Metcalf are still cruising along at pretty good speeds.

I'm bailing, too. John's driving to OP and it looks nasty to him, so sofa-surfing it is this evening.

I'll be in touch with all of you that let me know you had hats and gloves for Operation Breakthrough. We can arrange something next week for me to pick them up. There's no shortage of need this year, so even after Christmas will sure be appreciated!

I just drove from Desoto to downtown and back and the roads are wet but not slippery........now.

Come 6:30 tonight it could be a different story tho.......

All right, I guess we will bail too! I think the only person left that was coming to the rescheduled night was Speed Racer. Not that we wouldn't love to see the lights with her, but we will skip the long drive.

I hate to sound like a wuss, but I think I'm bailing out too. The main roads out here near the prospective drive are ok, but the side roads are slick, and I almost ended up in my yard trying to get into my garage.
