Some of you may recall a tragic accident last May at House of Boost in Lenexa. Co-owner Dorian Comeau and a co-worker were test driving a sand rail (like a dune buggy) in their parking lot when the driver lost control and crashed. The co-worker was killed and Dorian was left a quadriplegic. Neither was wearing a seatbelt or helmet. Channel 9 story here. http://www.kmbc.com/news/23560972/detail.html
There is a car show fund raiser for Dorian Saturday, October 16. I have a conflict in the a.m. but I'm planning on stopping by later. I'm going to register whether I go or not as the money is for a good cause.
Details here. http://www.thedrive2survive.com/
I hope you'll join me for a good cause.
BTW, they will be at KC Trend's Fast Fridays tonight registering. KC Trend's is west of Antioch just north of 135th. Directly behind Blue Moose.
