Dang, I killed the thread. Here is a little more. Think early 80's three man band form Canada (not Rush) Really good live.

She climbs into bed, pull the covers overhead and turns her little radio on
She's has a rotten day so she hopes the DJ's gonna play her favorite song
It makes her feel much better, brings her closer to her dreams

I know this tune, it was from a one hit wonder, it's running thru my head now while I look for the song title in the lyrics..........wait for it..........

That is WAY back in the machine. It's a BIWB song and I haven't heard the original. I knew it from a cover by a soap opera star, sometime in the late 80s, early 90s.
