I think I might like to do this, they're offering dyno runs, I'd sure like to get a baseline on my car just for grins and giggles.

I think I might head out and take a look at what's goin on in Lenexa on Sat Apr 5. Any other curious Miniacs want to go and take a look? Might be fun,especially if it looks like it's going to be a nice day.

Hello, I just bought my mini last weekend from Baron and wanted to see about joining a club. This event sounds interesting and I would like to meet more mini owners. Please advise, thanks.

Welcome! No need to formally join, we're an informal, no dues group. You'll find the club events in the "Announcements" thread as well lots of other fun options in the "Grassroots Gatherings" area. I hope you'll join us at an event soon!

You should show your MINI! I'm not sure how clean mine is going to be either (just getting the Winter wheels off would be a start) but I'm going. Surely we'll outshine the Scions that are registered.

I would like to stop buy and check out my fellow Miniacs.

I can't say what time though, probably between 11:00 and 1:00 would be my guess. With the weather being nice, we need to squeeze some yard work and hopefully a car wash in tomorrow as well.

Y'all can come anytime--the show starts at 10 a.m., prizes at 1.

This would be a great show to drop by, even if you aren't showing your MINI. Griot's reps will be there with product demos from 10 to 2, the dyno exhibition is from 1:30 to 3. There's an after dark party from 7 to 11 PM. Info at www.imagineauto.com.

I heard representation from the Ferrari, Viper and Lambo clubs will be strong. Should be a fun show to see!!

I might try to round up the crew, wedge them in the mini, and get out there for an hour or so in the AM. My weekend is so packed with stuff that I'm not 100% sure of it, however. Must check with Mrs MiniGeoff to be sure.
