MacGvyer and Minis

The other night Just A Passenger brings home several MacGyver DVDs from the library. We were watching a few episodes last night including one called the Thief of Budapest (Season 1, Disc 1) where MacGvyer has to retrieve a contact list, evade the bad guys and in the process he ends up helping a family of gypsies leave Hungary. The exit scene starts out with them "borrowing" 3 classic Minis. ( red, white and blue). I think "Wow, this is neat" . Of course, there is big a chase as they race to the boarder... but the really wild part is Alll of the chase scenes are from the original Italian Job. There are few minutes, that were cut out (like the driving up the airport building) but most of it was included. I could not believe it! They did not even reference the Italian Job in the credits.
