Bentley (matti_the-mini) is coordinating November's gathering and creating a fun driving route for us to enjoy. :D

SEE UPDATE BELOW

We'll meet at 11:30 on Saturday the 14th in Lee's Summit (location TBA) and embark on a drive about an hour in length, enjoying some of the area's finest twisties. The drive will end at Jason's Deli.

More details soon. Thanks, Bentley, for putting this together!

We will meet at the Burger King / Quick Trip at I-470 and NE Woods Chappel Rd.

I'll be testing the roads Saturday - Going to try and mix up the route a little from the March 2008 route.

More details early next week!

I would be confident to say start time at 11:30 - leave meeting spot by 11:45 - drive time about 1 hour - then lunch for those who wish to stay.

It may be possible to have two "leaders", one for a calm drive, and the 2nd for a more spirited drive.

Any volunteers to be the second leader?

All that would be involved would be to meet possibly the weekend before and drive the route to become familiar with it.

If you are interested in doing this, let me know.

Starting location still TBD - meeting time will be 11:30 am.

The route will end up at Jason's Deli in the Summit Woods Crossing Shopping Center (I470 & 50 Hwy)

The route will take about 1 hour to drive and I'm planning a departure time of 11:45.

It will also be helpful to bring a 2 way radio - makes missed turns easier to recover from.

I will be providing maps/route lists on the day of the drive.

I zoomed in on the map and it looks like Bk and quick trip are two seperate loaction. Are there two start points depending on which group you are going with?
