MINI Garage Day - Feb 11

MINI shop day at MiniDave's minishop!

So far we have a few jobs lined up to do....

1) Minicoopers43.........................supercharger oil, oil leaks, motor mounts etc.
2) Minimax.................................trailer hitch
3) UltraQuick..............................pulley
4) imabyter................................pulley


Be sure you get all your parts ordered and in place before that date! And don't forget we have a club member - sh944 (Scott Harrison) - who can supply parts for our cars at wholesale prices, send him a PM or give him a call and see what he can do for you. Ultraquick, that Cravenspeed pulley was extrememly well made and easy to install, I'd highly recommend you go with that one. Also a second thumbsup for the pulley kit from Way Motor Works.

If anyone else needs to get something done, now's the time to plan for it, just post in this thread.

I was getting ready to order a supercharger pulley, will I also need to order a replacement drive belt?

If I get this installed that day or not, I'd like to come by, help, watch, get in the way, whatever. I have a lot of experience twisting wrenches, just not so much on the MINI

Yes new belt and plugs are necessary with a pulley, here is a link to the complete kit. They are very good with answering an questions you have on the phone.

I have all my parts in hand, but I have no problem waiting for a warmer day, but I will go with the flow.

My nephew-in-law (Bluelighting) decided he would wait until Spring to have the brakes replaced, so the rear brakes are off the table. I will still be there to score a sweet roll
