Need a name for a good body shop. Garage door malfunctioned and closed on the front edge of my roof near the sunroof leaving a nice crease and gashed paint about 7-inches long along the roof. Other possibility is cleaning up the damage and vinyl wrapping the roof with a big Union Jack or Gloss Black so it looks original.

I've had several cars worked on at A&B Body in Riverside, MO. They are a CarStar national chain now - but I've had no less than 6 cars worked on there and they have always done a great job - during the estimates, during the repair and even after the delivery of the work.

Sounds good. And Dave, turns out the motor is jammed in my drivers side leveler on my head light. Thanks for pointing it out or I would have never though to check. Hopefully it's an easy fix.

Nothing is ever an easy fix on a MINI!

If you want it to look like new and insurance is paying for it it's hard to go wrong with Eveland Bros.

Deductible is too high. It would cost $2000 to fix and they would have to remove the roof trim, windshield, headliner, disconnect antenna, and remove sunroof. So instead baron is gonna drop the headliner, pop the dent out and touch up and polish the paint. Won't be 100 percent but no one will be able to tell at a glance that it was damaged. Also it won't cost tons of money.

Sound like a plan - don't forget to take it out on the garage door..

Has anyone noticed the new Baron Collision Center just west of I-35 on Shawnee Mission Parkway? What's the status of that?

That is where I am taking the Mini to get it fixed. Service manager was very friendly and extremely informative.
