I had it on my R56. Super easy to install and you can actually hear the blow-off noise. You won't be disappointed.kgreen66 wrote:Anyone installed a DDMworks cold air intake from WayMotorWorks? Comments? Suggestions?
r56 is different from r53. It's the old supercharged Tritec versus the turbocharged Prince engine. The hiss from the r53 is the belt while the r56 is a bov.MiniManiac wrote:I had it on my R56. I bought mine used to try it out. For the R56, the oiled filter does bother me a bit for longevity of the MAF as the filter is bolted onto the MAF. The noise is spectacular! I will miss that. I will tap the throttle just to hear the noise. Im taking mine off tonight as I sold it to a guy in Texas for what I paid. Going to try something else. Maybe a dry panel filter in the stock box.Minidave wrote:For those who had them and took them off, why?
Too much noise, or............?

Way Motor now offers a Pre oiled UNI filter or a K&N filter with their CAI. So you recommend the K&N? Anyone else have an opinion?
Zack, can you elaborate on why you prefer the alta?As far as CAI's go i recommend alta
First one I bought and I liked it. It wasn't super difficult to install and had a very clean look , especially with the airbox cover I bought extra. Well worth it. Works really well too. And yes it makes that nice whooshing sound.kgreen66 wrote:Zack, can you elaborate on why you prefer the alta?As far as CAI's go i recommend alta
