Kansas City MINI Enthusiasts

Deadline extended to April 9th.

The KC MINI Club is in need of a new club badge design. We need your talent! All of our previous badge design were quickly sold at the 2013 Minis at the Market show, so it's time. We're looking for a new, consistent image that all of our club members can proudly display on their car.

To submit an entry: please post your design here. A low resolution file is best to post here (300 x 300 is great). If your design is the winner of the contest, a high res file will be needed. Your design should be a 3" circle. Full color please. Submissions must be entered by April 7th. At that time, this thread will be locked.

How winner will be chosen: On April 9th, a new thread will be posted here with all of the entries in one tidy, easy to read thread. The thread will include a poll. Each member has one vote to cast. The design with the most votes by April 21st wins!

How the design will be used: The design may be used on any or all of the following: magnetic badges, decals/stickers, club spotter cards, club banners, tshirts and other club materials.

What's the winner get? The winner will get a tshirt featuring their design plus the gratitude of all of the club members for creating a design we will all enjoy having on our cars!

Fantastic idea!! Lately there has been quite a bit of interest in a new design of the club logo. I am still a fan of one of the original designs but something new could certainly be sweet. I will submit the old design as one of the entries of the new design!

I am submitting some oldies but goodies for the club design. What I like the best about these designs is the fact that they can fit on a grill badge holder and they are small enough to fit in other cool spots on your MINI glass.

Here's a stab. It's a little complex but fun. I will play with a few more and post as I have time.

Could go further and make it color specific to everyone's car if you wanted to go overboard, haha.

I like it too - but......while great for classics, it doesn't reflect the majority of MINI owners.....

Maybe do multiple of that last one. Have one for classics, one for the R50 generation, one for R56, and so forth. That being said, even with the classic mini on it, I would put it on my car. It's the beginning of the lineage of all our cars. They all came about because of the original mini.

I like Mike's concept. There are too many MINI models to feature. While the early 60's model is certainly symbolic I think a 2002 R50 would certainly represent when the club was started.

So is this more like what you guys are talking about?

I think both. This one for the newer minis in the club and the other for the classic minis

I'm weary of the hair curlers being the symbol of our city, how about going with something more modern, like the new performing arts center or the sprint center for a background - or just a skyline with less emphasis on Bartle Hall?

I think Hootie did a Kansas City skyline without the "hair curlers"

My comment would be to keep (or add) the club website to the winning design.
