I'll be driving my brand new roadster from Dallas to KC in a week and a half and am looking for some good non-highway roads. Any thoughts?

US 75 up out of Plano isn't a bad drive once you get over the Texas border. You could take US 75 to Rt66 and angle over to Pittsburg KS, then take 69 north into KC.
