St. Patrick's Day Parade Leavenworth, Friday 3/17/23

Post by MiniManiac »

Let's get together and participate in the annual Leavenworth St. Patrick's Day Parade. This traditional parade is held every year on March 17th, rain or shine! This is a short parade route ~ 1.5 miles so you really won't burn out your clutch and everyone loves seeing MINIs/Minis!

I will update with a meeting location and post parade activities. Please post up with # of cars and riders.

What: Leavenworth St. Patty Day Parade
Where: Downtown Leavenworth; we will meet up and drive to the parade start location
When: Meet up at 11 (location TBD). Parade starts at 12
Why: Everyone is tired of seeing mustangs and corvettes.

Link to the parade and photos from previous years: https://lvirish.com/

Going to be COLD, but my Mini has a decent heater - Johnna if I can convince Don and you guys bring Moxie, we could have 4 Minis in the parade - we'd look like a Shriner's group compared to the others! :D

Let's do it!! It is a short parade route ~ 1.5 miles in total length so it will be pretty easy on the clutch!

We will be in a MINI. But the Shriners comparison did make me giggle. :D

Fun times today, although it was cold it was sunny and the crowds really turned out.....John and Johnna built balloon leprechauns, John got inside one and stood in the back of Don's Pup waving at the crowd - it was a winning combination!!!
