2011 MINI Crossman

Post by mcconned »

I found this today on www.autoweek.com and thought I'd pass it along. It appears to be a 4-door MINI and All Wheel Drive.

...and increased ground clearance.
Does not want. Less wheel gap please, not more. :)

I don't care about the wheel gap, it's supposed to be a MINI-suv after all, but I had to go out and look at my Clubster again to make sure it did not have those horrible C pillars! Whew! It doesn't.........

Hmmm, I wonder if it will have any off road capability...judging by the X5 and X3...no.

I hope this guy is right... Because that rendering looks horrid. Does the world really need an MINI SUV?

Ick. I dont like it.

Next will be a 6 or 8 cyl engine, and it will weigh 4000lbs

As time goes on, its getting further from the traditional form factor...

Why dont they actually get creative, stick closer to the Issigonis concept, and give us a Moke.

I would buy a Moke. I think there's a market (although not as big a market as the SUV market) for new Mokes, especially in the islands. It's got to be a challenge to keep all of the aging, salt-air compromised vintage Mokes running! I want to make sure there's one to rent on my next vacation and think it would be great if it were reliable. :)

A new Moke would be awesome! I think I'd buy one. LOL Those classic Moke's are cool but they're kinda a death trap with a shiny paint job...
