Countryman at Baron
Countryman at Baron
Kinda suprised that Stephanie did not report on her viewing of the Countryman. Its a Justa with lots of options NFS. It is a pre-production build. Overall I was pleased with what I saw. Like the seats and kneeroom.
Who got an invitation for tomorrows ( 12-11-2010 ) sales event?

Well, don't feel like the Lone Ranger Steph, I didn't get an invite either....
I guess buying 2 cars there still doesn't qualify me....I don't know who their target demographic is, but even tho we have a 6 y/o Audi all wheel drive wagon, we're not it.

Re: Countryman at Baron
Any differences noted in the Countryman at Baron from what was on display at MTTS?
I got an invite and hope to drop by between work obligations. And I've only bought one car there, the one that is probably furthest from making me the demographic likely to buy a Countryman.

Re: Countryman at Baron
Wow--it was a Who's Who of Miniacs at Baron this afternoon! There were sure lots of Miniacs checking out the Countryman. Sure was good to see y'all!
I'm sort of in the market for a slightly more practical car and think this might be it, however I don't really care for the rail system and the accessories that go on it seem pretty flimsy. I'm also scared by the *KAPOW!* release function to lay down the back seats--totally whacked myself in the head today. The HUGE MINI emblem that incorporates the rear hatch handle makes me giggle--so disproportionate it is almost cartoon-like.
To find out if we won the car from the postcard, we had to participate in a marketing survey. Pretty quick and easy and got a free SIGG-style water bottle for our time. Wasn't a bad way to blow an hour or so this afternoon.

Re: Countryman at Baron
What I suggest on the rail is get the two part rail and then just pop all the attachments off.

It's will be interesting to see how quickly aftermarket gizmos for the rail system show up--I'm excited to see what becomes available!Counterfit_Mini wrote:What I suggest on the rail is get the two part rail and then just pop all the attachments off.
I agree, the split rail system would be the best way to go for me. No sushi delivery from the backseat, which is fine by me.
