Anyone know where in the Johnson County area one can buy 92 or 93 octane gas?

I thought most BP stations have 92 or 93. The station at Blue Ridge and State Line has 93.

Sounds like I've just been going to the wrong gas stations. Anyone notice any performance benefit from the 93 octane?

Just for fun I once filled up with 100 octane at the track (at $7 a gallon - gulp!) and ran the event all day - performance difference? Negligible......

Smelled great tho!

The best thing you can do is find non-ethanol laced gas....you'll see better fuel mileage right away, but a performance difference will be hard to find.

Hy Vee gas stations have no ethanol in their Premium gas. Octain is 91 --- I have found this in Gladstone and Olathe :D

Did you notice any improvement in performance and/or driveability with the non-ethanol fuel?

Yeah, both. The last time I checked, the premium was .44 a gal. higher than regular. It might have come down recently though ---

The only good thing about high octane on stock tune is that it won't knock at all if heat soaked so you can beat on it with no ill effect.
