A club member asked on Facebook what tools would be considered essential for a MINI owner. Got any suggestions?

Re: Essential tools for a MINI owner
Depends a lot on what the tools are for, for just general maintenance like oil changes, or for trips in case of a breakdown or ???

Re: Essential tools for a MINI owner
He was asking for general purposes, so I will start.
For GEN2 MINIS
1. To change plugs https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002Y ... UTF8&psc=1
2. For oil changes, you need to remove the drain plug and oil filter housing
a. https://www.outmotoring.com/3-8-inch-dr ... -1377.html
b. https://www.outmotoring.com/mini-cooper ... _27mm.html
3. If you change your own brakes, then you will need this for the rears
a. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0122 ... UTF8&psc=1
There are plenty more bits and pieces
